John 3:22-36
John the Baptist is juxtaposed to Nicodemus in his response to Jesus. Whereas Nicodemus approached Jesus with superficial faith and could not accept Him as the Word, the Son of God, John the Baptist recognizes that Jesus must increase and he must decrease. In life we have a choice in how we respond to Jesus. We can either be the religious hard-hearted Nicodemus, or we can be John the Baptist, humbly submitting to Jesus as Lord and Savior! Choose well...
